Martin Weber - Obituary
Martin Weber, 84, died in his sleep Saturday, April 18, in Atmore, AL. He was born in East Earl, PA, and moved to Atmore, AL, in 1962.

Martin served as Chaplain in the Alabama State Prison system for 20 years and founded the We Care Program prison ministry. He was a visionary who started several businesses. He was also an active member of Grace Fellowship Church. He dearly loved the Lord and was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna (Hoover) Weber of Atmore, AL. Other survivors include his 2 sons, James Weber (Ruth) of Atmore, Phil Weber (Twila) of Ohio; 4 daughters, Mary Jane Schrock (Calvin) of Atmore; Ruth Ann Yoder (Alvin) of Michigan; Velma Schrock (Arlin) of Mobile, AL; and Joyce Suter (Bob) of Ohio; 1 daughter-in-law, Susan Weber of Atmore; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Martin is also survived by 1 brother, Raymond Weber of New Holland; 4 sisters, Mary Weaver (Ammon), Mable Hurst (Edwin), Irene Rutt (Eugene) all of New Holland, and Ida Weaver (David) of Hesston, Ks. Martin was preceded in death by his oldest son, Leon Weber.

Friends will be received Monday, April 20, from 5:00 8:30 P.M. at Atmore Memorial Chapel. Additional visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 on Tuesday, April 21, with the funeral service at 2:00. Burial will be in the Freemanville Community Cemetery.
