WE CARE PROGRAM - ReNew Hope
RENEW HOPE

January 22-26, 2017
Beginning in a single prison with a small group of volunteers in 1979, the We Care event "ReNew Hope" has been held each year since then and now reaches about 25 different prisons throughout the state of Alabama.

Held each January, this event attracts hundreds of volunteers, evangelists, and musicians from all over the United States who carry the Gospel message to thousands of men and women in Alabama's prison system.

Participants meet for a day of orientation and missions rally in Montgomery, Alabama, after which they spread out into the Montgomery, Troy, Birmingham, and Atmore areas for four days of ministry in prison. Each morning begins with a hearty breakfast followed by an inspirational session with gifted teachers in each locality. The volunteers then enter the various prisons for ministry through friendship evangelism. Each day in the prisons concludes with a chapel service that features special music and evangelists.

Mature Christian men and women ages 20 and older are welcome to participate.
